Weyerhaeuser, pronounced like “warehouser”, is a commercial engineer of wood products and a

custom design box manufacturer. Founded in 1900 by Frederick Weyerhaeuser, the company specializes

in engineered lumber and custom office storage solutions for large and small businesses.

Their products are available directly to consumers and can be found in large retailers nationwide.

The Challenge

Receiving shipments required a Weyerhaeuser employee to manually count many
boxes in a shipment. The number of boxes needed to match what was printed
on the packing list. The shipments were large so this inevitably made for a lot of human error.

The Solution

Weyerhaeuser wanted to ensure each shipment was accurate and decided on upgrading to

an enterprise mobile computer designed for warehousing.  After researching online, they contacted Unitech
