Navigation operations start with a location search. If a map of the destination can be displayed, the route can be set and the location stored in the address book. The following basic search methods are covered in this guide.
ADDRESS / INTERSECTION
Used when the address or intersection of 2 streets at the destination is known.
POINTS OF INTEREST (POI) NAME
Used when the name of the desired POI is known.
A new destination can be set from the 20 destinations that have been previously set.
If a location has already been stored in the address book, it can be called up and set as the destination.
If the home location has already been stored, the route to go home can be set.
Refer to the Mitsubishi Multi-Communication System (MMCS) Owner’s Manual for information on Advanced Search methods.
Note: There is built in intuitiveness in the system that begins to identify a city, street, etc, even before you finish typing and gives you a list of possible choices.
