Passed Apple Value-Added Services (VAS)

Apple VAS is a communication protocol used by Apple to transfer data from supported cards to compatible NFC terminals. It operates over short distances and allows users to present contactless cards or make Apple Pay transactions. When a device is brought near an NFC terminal, the terminal requests card information. Users may need to authenticate using Face ID, Touch ID, or a password. The card data is encrypted and transmitted to the terminal. Users can manually select cards to present to NFC terminals, with options for authentication in iOS 13.1 and later versions.
